Your hair appears to be thick and slightly wavy.
While the extensions look, thin and dead straight. So they don't really go with your hair make up.
But at least you had a go.
I reckon you should get more hair extensions, a slightly darker colour and possibly wavy too.
If there clip ins, there is only one way for them to stay and thats to make sure your clip them in real good.
Or get some bobby pins.

You see how the guy in this pictures hair looks well groomed and obedient but it dosent look like its has products in it. Whatever stuff I put in my hair makes it shiny and crunchy and theres always a little frizz sticking out. Ive tried paste and wax but it all just looks the same Do you have to go to a salon and get something done to your hair in order for it to be like this? Or am I doing something wrong

Make sure you have to right hair cut... if your hairstylist can't style it then there is something wrong.. but i would recommend as a product.. Great Clips makes a product called " designing taffy" and it works well with styles like this. try drying it into the style you want first then use product to hold it. a good cut is also needed, im not sure what sort of style it is you want but sometimes you need different finishes to give the hair textures to hold a certain style. dont forget your hair will only fall the way it is growing, there is no point going against the way your hair falls or your style will never hold no mater what product you put on it, find a style to enhance your face, hair type and the way your hair falls
It sounds as though the products you are using are too heavy for your hair. Is your hair thick or fine? If it is fine, you need to use a lighter gel/mousse. Also make sure you are putting the products in your hair when it is dry. This will take away from the crispy wet look. Hope this helps!
out mousse in your hair and blow dry then take a little bit of wax and run through your hairand fluff it up there you go
