Hair Help? i need to get this style....PICTURES included, suggestion?

but my hair is curly and i have bangs (longish bangs) which are on a side part, so side swept bangs BUT when i straighten my ENTIRE hair

my bangs lay flat and completly stright and turns out looking greasy

i want (after i strighten my hair) to push it all back, like here:

problem is when i strighten my hair it loose ALOT of volume and can never get it to stay up...it always falls to one side (since my hair is used to being on a side part ) or it splits off down the middlee....i need to create this style AFTER i strighten my hair since my hair is naturally curly.

so telling me to flip my head over when i blow dry it wont help since my hair is naturally curly...

i need it to REGAIN volume AFter i strighten it...

ya know, I actually don't think Angelina Jolie is not that pretty....DEfinitely not as pretty as everyone makes her out to be....

Ummm, just grow your bangs out, straighten it, but put mouse before straightening it to keep the volume but keep it straight, and then push it all back, blow dry on cool, and it should work...

Oh also, put your head down and let your hair hang as if you were stuck upside down on a roller coaster while you blow dry, it adds volume...

you need to blow dry with a large round brush do not flat iron that is the key and also use root boost to stimulate the hair blow dry in sections from root to end

Try teasing your hair and set the style using hairspray.

don't straighten your hair standing up. gravity will pull it flat against your head. try flipping your hair over and straightening it, then using a big round brush to poof it up a little. run your fingers through your hair along your scalp to prevent the hair from laying flat against ur head. just keep experimenting and u'll get it! good luck!

After you straighten it, use a large curling iron to give it waves (adding volume). Then you can use a hair oil or mousse to get it back off your face. Then hairspray like crazy!!

My hair is a lot like yours, and there are two ways to get the style you want:

a. Blow dry your hair completely, and then tie it back into a low bun for at least 20 minutes. Then, take your flat iron and start straightenting from your eyebrows down, but curl the straighter slightly so the hair doesnt go completely flat.

b. After blowdrying your hair, dont use a flat iron. Instead use a large barrel curling iron, and loosely curl about one-inch sections of hair. LOOSE curl. Then brush out the core of your hair (not the ends, or roots) and your volume will stay intact. Be sure to use some kind of anti-frizz product.

If your bangs are short this style probably won't work, but if they are longer, you could have a chance. Try brushing your bangs back while you blow dry your hair. This will possibly help your bangs stay back. Run a straightener through the poofy parts, but try not to use it as much on top of your head unless you have curly areas that need to be straightened. Use lots of hair spray and brush back. You can always tease the hair right on top of your head, and brush back your bangs over the teased part so it looks like your hair has more volume.

if you have bangs you need too grow them so they can be long enough to reach the back of your head that will help along with blowdry and hirspray
